Our story began in 1983. We have come a long way, from manufacturing our first helmet in a garage to having manufacturing facilities capable of producing 9.04 million unit every year.
We have received lots of love and affection from our customers worldwide and the the largest two-wheeler helmets player in India in terms of revenue in Fiscal 2023 and also the world’s largest two-wheeler helmet player by volume of helmets sold in Fiscal 2024.
In the last 4 decades, we have continuously innovated ourselves so that we deliver on our promise of providing safety to a two wheeler rider.
The safety, reliability and quality associated with a helmet brand are the key attributes which increase customer confidence and influence a purchase decision. We believe that over time, our consistent focus on improving the safety features and quality of our helmets have helped us in establishing our brand, Studds as a trusted brand amongst our customers. Our products are sold pan-India and in more than 70 countries internationally, with our key export markets situated across Americas, Asia (excluding India), Europe and rest of the world.

INFRASTRUCTURE
MANUFACTURING FACILITIES
We have four manufacturing facilities in India, with a fifth manufacturing facility currently under-construction. our Manufacturing Facilities I, II and III have a combined capacity of producing 9,040,000 units of two-wheeler helmets and boxes fully equipped with automated silicon hard coating facility for visors, sputtering and metalizing technologies available for coating visors, in-house helmet liners stitching facility, conveyorized assembly line, in-house mold making shop and design center, in house painting lines, automated fabric cutting lines and stitching lines and an in-house helmet testing laboratory certified by Vehicle Certification Agency, England (VCA) and Manufacturing Facility IV has a capacity of producing 9,000,000 units of Expanded Polystyrene Liners (EPS Liners) and 1,500,000 units of water transfer decals used for captive consumption in Manufacturing Facilities I, II and III
Our vertically integrated business model gives us control over our processes from raw material procurement, design, production and marketing to distribution and sales and also our ability to respond to changing market trends and iterate prototypes with faster turnaround time, thereby reducing time to market and enabling faster product and design development cycles. We have developed our manufacturing processes based on our nearly five decades of production experience and gradually created extensive vertical integration which has allowed us to have better control over the quality of our products. Our vertically integrated manufacturing processes enable us to become cost efficient in relation to third party manufacturing and allows us to have greater control over quality and safety at each stage of the manufacturing process. It also enables us to have quicker response time to customer requirements and complaints and provide timely after-sales support.
TESTING FACILITIES
STUDDS has an in-house testing laboratory to ensure proper compliance with the prescribed industry standards. The laboratory is approved by VCA ENGLAND.
Furthermore, we have been granted significant safety certifications such as BIS certification IS: 4151 (for motorcycle helmets) and IS: 2925 (for industrial helmets); ECE 22.05 and SLSI certifications.
